A fire burned for his future, full of hopes, dreams and desires
But his roads were paved with regret, and stained with lustful intent
Soon the boy was no more, a corrupted man soon filled his shrunken shoes

It beckons all as the easy way out; an eternal escape into the darkest depths

The man was lost in an angry world of his own
The boy, it seems, was long dead. But his hopes and dreams he could not shed
Chains of pain from others hurt; they choked his brain until it burst
A dream can die from a tortured mind, as the body decays and the soul is confined
